How to reply to an existing posting

How to add a new posting

1. Click on Forums in the lefthand menu or on Forums in the main body of the site.

2. Click on Add a Forum Posting (Note: you can also click on this link if you are already looking at postings in one of the Forums.

3. Fill in the form as follows:
Subject: Type in the title of your posting
Board: Select the appropriate forum from the drop down list
Posting: Type the information that you want to post
Email: Type in your email address (optional)
Name: Type in your name (optional).

4. When you are happy with what you have written click on submit.

5. You will then be asked to give the answer to a simple sum (this is to stop the forum being filled with spam postings).

6. Type the answer in the box and then click on submit.

7. You will get a thank you message, and your posting will be displayed once it has been approved by the moderator.

How to reply to an existing posting

1. Click on Forums in the lefthand menu or on Forums in the main body of the site.

2. Click on the title of the forums you are interested in.

3. A list of postings with a brief snippet from each will be displayed.

4. Click on the title of the posting you are interested in.

5. The whole of the posting, plus any replies already received, will be displayed.

6. Click on reply at the top of the posting you wish to reply to.

7. Fill in the form as follows:
Subject: this will already be filled in
Posting: Type in your reply
Email: Type in your email address (optional)
Name: Type in your name (optional).

8. When you are happy with what you have written click on submit.

9. You will then be asked to give the answer to a simple sum (this is to stop the forum being filled with spam postings).

10. Type the answer in the box and then click on submit.

11. You will get a thank you message, and your posting will be displayed once it has been approved by the moderator.
